Photo Essay- FOODS!!

Hello everyone!! You guys like to eat, right? Well, I'm going to do my photo essay of some famous fastfood restaurants such as Pizza Hut, Burger King and describe the menus there. I hope you enjoy my photo essay!

Do you know this man?
He is Colonel Sanders and he invented(?) KFC at 1930.
Today, people mostly eat chickens, burgers and even egg tart in KFC.
I like hot spicy chicken here because it's not greasy so I can eat a lot and it smells like ketchup and hotsauce. (I recommend garlic chicken.)

Papa Jones is one of the most famous pizza places in the world. But not so much in Korea. But I think even though Papa Jones pizzas are very expensive they're very delicious. I like Spicy Italian pizza because it gives an edge to my appetite and l like the toppings,too.
(I recommend Super Papa)

Everyone knows Baskin Robbins, right? It has lots of  creative flavors and titles such as "My mom is an alien". Baskin Robbins is pretty expensive, too but it's worth the money because I like to creative menus(as I said) and each menu has its own unique style.
(I recommend Shooting Star)

This shop has an amazing name; Dunkin' Donuts. This means it's delicious if you dunk in your donuts in coffee. The donuts are mostly cheap and taste sweet and soft all the time.
(I recommend Munchkin Donuts)

McDonald's is one of my favorite shops.
The menus here are all delicious and cheap.
The buns are very soft, the lettuce is fresh, and the meat is extremely juicy. Plus new menus are create annually.(I recommend Shanghai Spicy Chicken Burger)

I'm not sure if Outback exists on the USA, too.

Outback is extremely expensive, and the menus are changing every month. The steak here is awesome. It's juicy and melts inside your mouth. (I recommend STEAK!!)

First, I like the name. second, the menus are creative. And third, they're very soft and smooth and  delicious.
I never drank such a delicous smoothie in my life.(I recommend Vanilla Smoothie)


Well, this is the end of my photo essay. I'm sorry that I didn't use pictures taken by myself. I hope you could try foods I recommended. But remember, too much fastfood can make you like this

Persuasive Writing- Opposing to School Uniforms

Dear Principal Kim of Seaview Highschool

I am writing this letter because I stongly believe that students shouldn't wear school uniforms. An expert, John Grossman, eHow Contributor agree to me.
I will explain reasons for this and give facts to support my opinion.

The first reason is that school uniforms affect students' lack of expression. If everyone wear the same clothes it gives bad image and decrease students' creativity.

The second reason is that school uniforms are uncomfortable. Plus, school uniforms make students extremely hot at summer times and cold at winter times.

It is also known that Children who wear school uniforms are more likely to use makeup early, and many resort to extreme accessories or to alter their uniforms to differentiate themselves from others. For example, many girls shorten their skirts as a way to rebel against the severity of school uniforms.(source:http://www.wisegeek.org/what-are-the-pros-and-cons-of-school-uniforms.htm)

The final reason is that school uniforms are too expensive. In Korea, if you first enter a school(mostly middle and high school) the price's of the uniforms are about four hundred thousand won.




Most school students do not agree about wearing school uniforms, too.

In conclusion, I do not want Seaview High School students wear school uniforms.

Creative writing- Justin's Decision

          
             There was a boy named Justin who loved a girl named who was living next door in New York. In the morning Justin watched the girl from his window. He watched the girl picking apple from trees and gently stroking her cat. At night, Justin watched the girl playing the guitar in the moonlight. Then, one day, Justin decided that he should talk with the girl. He didn't know anything about that mysterious girl. So, the next day, Justin went to the girl's house and pushed the doorbell. After a few minutes later, the girl opened the door.

"Hi... I recognized you picking apples and playing around with your cats so I want to be friends with-" 
"My name is Amber." the girl said.

"Hi Amber. I'm Justin and I live next doors with you..So...Do you want to play?"
Amber giggled."You are so cute!!^^"
"Sure...why not??"

The two kids played until night. They went to valleys and had a picnic, they made peanut butter and jellies and ate them. Justin and Amber ran around laughing all day long. 

After a few years later, Justin had to move to California because of his father's job. Justin became so furious. He couldn't understand why he had to follow his dad all the way to California. He didn't eat. No, he couldn't eat with all the sadness crushing him. Justin had to tell Amber that he was going sooner or later. Only a week was left. He thought about just keeping his mouth shut. But that was too painful. He thought about it and finally decide to tell Amber.

The doorbell rang. Justin ran downstairs to get the door. Amber was there. Justin took a deep breath and opened his mouth.

Movie review of "The Princess Bride"

                      I'm going to write a review about a movie called "the Princess Bride". The Princess Bride is a movie that was made in 1987 by Rob Reiner. The filming location was Ireland, United Kingdom. The genre of the movie is romantic fantasy.

There are many characters including Buttercup, Westley, Prince Humperdink., etc. Also, there are lots of settings, too. Like, the fire swamp, the cliff of insanity, quicksand,  forest of thieves, etc.
The story starts with a grandpa telling his grandson a story,"The Princess Bride". First Westley and Buttercup falls in love. But one day, Westley disapears and never returns back. So, Butttercup decides not to love ever again. After a few years later, Buttercup gets kidnapped by 3 men(forgot thir names^^;;) but Westley comes to help Buttercup from many hazards and plans to live together forever. Mean while, Prince Humperdink envies westley and tries his best to kill him but fails after a man named Miracle Max saves westley. At the end, Westley and Buttercup mees again and lives happily ever after.

I didn't really enjoy this movie because I mostly don't like fantasies. But I think the stories are well- organized and are smooth. I loved how the actors expressed their emotional feelings in a kind of exaggerated way. Plus the movie gave me a good moral; true love waits forever. I'd like to recommend this movie to those who are hurt because of love.
