The doorbell rang. Justin ran downstairs to get the door. Amber was there. Justin took a deep breath and opened his mouth.
"I'm sorry Amber. I'm going to California because of my dad's job. I'm really sorry that I didn't tell you earlier. I'm just... I'm sorry." Justin blurted out.
Amber was shocked. She opened her mouth but, no sounds came out. Tears came out from her eyes. She ran outside.
The next day, Justin woke up and wrote a memo in a small paper. He ran to Amber's house and knocked on the door. Amber came out a few seconds later. "Are you here to say goodbye to me?" She said.
Justin laughed and said,"I'm not going. I'll just stay here with my mom and go to California next year."
Amber was extremely happy.
She giggled and Justin laguhed. They ran down to the hills to go on a picnic.
